Mask Assembly

Place your two fabric pieces right sides together.
Measure in 2″ from each corner and mark.
Draw a line connecting the points.
Trim the corner’s off along these lines.

Stitch around the mask leaving 1 short end open so that you can turn it right side out.

Turn the mask right side out through the opening.
Fold the opening edges to the inside and press.
Press the remaining mask flat.
Mark the center of the top of the mask, measure out 1 3/4″ on either side.

Sew down 1/4″ on one side and along to your 3 1/2″ mark to create a tunnel for your nose bridge. Insert nose bridge.

Stitch down open side of tunnel to secure. Edge stitch around all edges, closing the opening. Make sure you do not sew over the nose bridge.

Fold top edge down 1 3/4″ and press. Fold the bottom edge up 1 3/4″ and press. Pin in place.

Mark 1 1/4″ in on either side and stitch over the overlaps to secure, edge stitch along both folds.

Pull out the side flaps and fold the mask in half, pin the sides of the overlaps to the main band.

Stitch overlapping edges in place where pinned.

Pin ends of elastics to the top and bottom of the flap. Fold ends in 1/4″ and topstitch over to secure.
