Mask Assembly

Using the pattern provided cut out 4 mask pieces from your fabric. Trim 1/2″ off the sides of 2 opposite facing masks.

Place the pieces right sides together and stitch along the middle curve.

Press the seam.

Fold 1/4″ in on the mask pieces which ends you have not trimmed.

Place your elastic on the edge of the fold and 1/4″ in from the top and bottom of the mask. Pin in place, baste if needed. Fold the edge over again 1/4″ to cover the raw edge and topstitch down to secure.

On your other mask piece do a 1/4″ rolled hem on the edge of the mask.

Place your mask pieces right sides together, matching the seams. Pin and stitch with 1/4″ seam allowance along the top and bottom of the mask. Turn right side out.

Place the adhesive nose piece along the outside of your mask edge.
