PomPom Ball Ornament
Materials
- 1 foam ball
- 3m pompom trim
- 0.2m ribbon
- hot glue
Instructions
- Starting at the bottom of your ball hot glue the trim to the ball
- Continue gluing around until ¾ of the ball is covered.
- Cut 4” of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop
- Glue the ends of the ribbon to the top of the ball
- Continue gluing the pom pom trim around until you reach the top
- Make sure the bottom of the ribbon is covered and trim the remaining pom poms to finish
Snowman Ornament
Materials
- Felt Sheets – White, Orange and Brown
- 0.2m Ribbon
- Hot Glue
Instructions
- Using the provided pattern pieces cut:
- 6 x snowman bodies
- 6 x snowman heads
- 2 x arms
- 1 x nose
- Fold you bodies and heads in half
- Glue 1 half of your circle to the other half of the next circle
- Make sure to glue your arms between 2 different circles of the body
- Glue your nose in between 2 half’s of your head
- Glue the first and last half’s together to create your head and body
- Cut 4” of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop
- Glue the ends of the Ribbon to the top of the head
- Glue the bottom of your head to the top of the body to finish
Embroidery Hoop with Bow
Materials
- 0.2m Fabric – we used fabric from the timber gnomies collection
- 4″ Embroidery Hoop
- 0.4m Ribbon
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Insert the fabric into the embroidery hoop, finish the back of the hoop by doing a basting stitch around the excess fabric and pull tight.
- Cut 4” of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop, tie to the hoop closure
- With your remaining ribbon create a bow and hot glue to the top of your embroidery hoop
Embroidery Hoop with Pompom Trim
Materials
- 0.2m Fabric
- 0.2m Contrasting Fabric
- 0.2m Ribbon
- 6.5″ Embroidery Hoop
- 0.3m Pompom Trim
- Heat n Bond Ultra
- Hot Glue
Instructions
- Using the provided word template, trace onto the paper side of the heat n bond
- Follow the directions on your heat n bond, transfer onto the centre of your main fabric
- Insert the fabric into the embroidery hoop, finish the back of the hoop by doing a basting stitch around the excess fabric and pull tight.
- Cut 4” of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop, tie to the hoop closure
- Glue the pompom trim around the outside of the embroidery hoop to finish
Fabric Ornament
Materials
- 0.3m Fabric
- Foam Ball
- 1m Ribbon
- Hot Glue
Instructions
- Cut out a 14” square and place right side down
- Glue the bottom of the ball to the centre of the fabric
- Cut 4” of ribbon and fold in half to create a loop
- Glue the ends of the Ribbon to the top of the ball
- Fold fabric up towards the top of the ball and tie the ribbon around to secure, making sure the loop is sticking up.
- Glue ribbon around the outside of the ball
- With your remaining ribbon create a bow and hot glue to the top of the ball
Felt Decorations
Materials
- Felt Sheets – Assorted Colors
- 0.2m Rick Rack Trim
- Hot Glue
Instructions
- Using the provided templates cut out Christmas baubles
- Using the remaining felt cut out decorations for the baubles
- Glue to the Christmas bauble bases
- Glue rick rack on top of the bands
- Cut 2x 4” of rick rack and fold in half to create a loop, glue to the top of the bauble
- Cut a rectangle and glue on top of the ends of the rick rack to finish
