Wyoming Valley – Jean Jacket

Materials
- Fabric A – Organic Co-ordinates – Mini Branch – Mustard – 0.2m
- Fabric B – Organic Co-ordinates – Mini Branch – Orange – 0.2m
- Fabric C – Organic Co-ordinates – Mini Branch – Navy – 0.2m
- Fabric D – Organic Co-ordinates – Mini Branch – Blue – 0.2m
- Lite Steam-a-Seam 9″ x 12″
- Jean Jacket

Cutting Instructions
Please note: All strips are cut across the width of fabric
(WOF) from selvedge to selvedge unless otherwise noted.
From Fabric A cut:
(1) 21/4” x WOF strips. Sub cut:
(4) 21/4” x 21/4” squares
(1) 2 3/4” x WOF strips. Sub cut:
(11) 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” squares
From Fabric B & C cut:
(1) 2 3/4” x WOF strips. Sub cut:
(8) 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” square
From Fabric D cut:
(1) 2 3/4” x WOF strips. Sub cut:
(5) 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” square
Block Assembly
Wyoming Valley Quilt Block –Seam Allowance – 1/4″
1. Place (1) A 2 3/4” , right sides together with (1) B 2 3/4“.
2. Sew 2 channels down the middle.
3. Cut down middle and press open. Trim to 21/4” x 2 1/4”
Repeat steps 1-3, referring to blocks 1-4 below for fabric identification until you have them all made.
4. Referring to blocks 1-3 below for HST identification, sew HST’s and Fabric A 21/4” ” squares together until you have made:
5. Referring to photo below for block location. Sew blocks together to complete the Wyoming Valley Quilt Block.
6. Square block to 11″ x 11″ Fold the block edges 1/4″ back all the way around and press.* Stitch around to secure.
7. Following the instructions on the packaging use Lite Steam-a-Seam to permanently bond the block to the back of the jacket.
*If you have a heavy duty machine you can skip the Steam-a- seam and stitch the block directly onto the jacket.
