- Christmas Legend Collection – Damask – 1m
- Ribbon or Cording
Cutting Instructions
Ensure your two panels are cut to the same size.
From Damask cut:
(2) Length of Panel x 12″ rectangles
(1) Width of Panel x 12″ rectangle
Instructions
Place your long strips right sides together with (1) panel piece. Mark in and up 1/2″ on the bottom corners. Stitch from the top stopping and backstitching at these marks.
Repeat with the other sides of the rectangles and the other panel.
Mark 1/2″ in on all corners of the bottom piece. Place right sides together with your bag matching corners and marks. Pin in place and stitch around pivoting at the corners.
Fold the top edge down 1/4″ and then down the width of your ribbon. Press and topstitch all the way around.
Find the front middle of your bag and mark along the channel. Measure 1/2″ on either side of the center and mark. Cut a slit through the front side of your fabric only. make sure it is long enough for your ribbon to fit through. Thread your ribbon through.
