Wine Glass Coasters
Avoid ring marks in style with our DIY wine glass coasters! And to add to the fun you can make each coasters unique so that everyone will be able to identify their glasses!
Materials
- Fabric A – Cheers To You – Marble Splash Natural – 0.2m
- Fabric B – Cheers To You – Marble Splash Topaz – 0.2m
- Fabric C – Cheers To You – Marble Splash Green – 0.2m
- Fabric D – Cheers To You – Marble Splash Onyx – 0.2m
- Scissors
- Fabric Marker
- Matching Thread

Cutting Instructions
From Fabric A:
(4) Circles. 2 for the base and 2 for the pocket/sleeve
From Fabric B:
(4) Circles. 2 for the base and 2 for the pocket/sleeve
From Fabric C:
(4) Circles. 2 for the base and 2 for the pocket/sleeve
From Fabric D:
(4) Circles. 2 for the base and 2 for the pocket/sleeve
1. Start by placing your wine glass on the fabric and trace around the base with a fabric marker. And trace another circle, 1/2″ outside the original circle.
2. Repeat for the all 4 pieces of fabric and cut out.
3. Fold 2 circles wrong sides together, and press well with the iron on steam.
4. Place the base fabrics wrong sides together.
5. Top the base circles with the sleeve circles folded in half and pin in place.
6. Sew around the circles with 1/4″ seam allowance.
7. Cut notches into the entire seam.
8. Turn the coaster right side out
9. Press the coaster well with the iron on steam.
10. Return to your sewing machine and top stitch all around the coaster, using a 1/8″ allowance.
Repeat Steps 1-10 three more times for a set of 4 coasters.
