Instructions

Step 1
  1. Baste piping to both long edges of the rectangle
Step 2

2. Sew the rectangle to one of the club pieces, right sides together with 5/8″ seam allowance. To get nice and close to the edge of the piping use a zipper foot. Repeat with the other club piece on the other side.

Step 3

3. Baste the pellon to the lining pieces and repeat step 2.

Step 4

4. Turn the lining inside out and pull over the top of the fabric piece so good sides are together and the seams are matching. Sew the lining and fabric together at the ‘L’ seam jutting out from the club piece and the remainder of the rectangle piece.

Step 5

5. Snip corners and trim fabric where needed. Flip right side out. Press the seams.

Step 6

6. Attach bias binding to the bottom edge of the golf club cover. Make sure you fold over the end so you have a clean finish. You can also use a scrap fabric to make the bias binding.

Step 7

7. Sew the velcro onto the ‘L’ and the back side of the rectangle of both sides.

8. Iron on applique numbers!
